You are adopted!

The word of God says that when we are adopted into his family, we receive a new name, a new identity, and we receive the same inheritance as the natural born children. Let that sink in for a moment. We become joint heirs to the kingdom.  Read Romans 8:14 – 17   This is amazingly good news!!

I think this is where we, as Christians, “miss it”. We continue to walk in our sin identity.  Why do we do this?  God is giving us a new name – one that is completely opposite of what we used to be.  We need to accept this gift of a new identity.  Sure, the enemy wants to keep reminding you of your past… but you need to keep reminding him that you are dead to that way of life – you are a new creature in Christ.

You are a daughter, or son, of the Most High King. Start walking like the chosen child that you are!!!
