Instrument of Righteousness

Romans 6:13 encourages believers to present their bodies to God as instruments of righteousness.  This implies a conscious decision to align one’s life with God’s will and purpose, rather than succumbing to the desires of the flesh – for the purpose of doing good and pleasing God.  2nd Peter 1:3 says we have what it takes to please God.  What is your desire today?  Do you want to please God?  Or, be controlled by the flesh?  Selah (pause and think about that!)
